Thank God it's Friday. Hey look this is my first blog post...
Today was switch day, which means we rotated classes yet again for my Multimedia Production Skills class. The good news is we're in the last section, and we only have a couple weeks (5/6) left of school.
Today we switched into the Online part of the class. It was just like any other first day of class. Our professor went over his syllabus, assignments, and class expectations. From the sound of it, I think it's going to be a pretty cool class. We spent most of the time in class setting up these blogger accounts. I've used Blogger and Wordpress before, but somehow I always get lazy and forget to keep up with them. Maybe this blog will be the one!
We talked about how we're not really going to be using Dreamweaver very much in the class, and I'm okay with that. In high school, I took a web design class that was ALL Dreamweaver and working with scripts. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I forgot almost everything I learned in that class.
Anyways, I'm very excited about this class and learning the different aspects of online journalism. I did see on the syllabus that we would be talking about photo essays. I love taking sports-related photos, and we had to make photo essays for my Visual Literacy class. I definitely can't wait for that part of the class.
I guess that's all for now ... I'm excited to see what I'll learn from this class.
